Our work has grown out of the commitment and enthusiasm of many people.
Over many years, numerous people have volunteered their free time at Hof vErde – from planting initiatives, educational events, and participation days to project development and the practical implementation and promotion of regenerative approaches in agriculture. What began in 2018 as a joint learning and experimentation project has developed into a vibrant community with the desire to give this commitment a sustainable structure.

On January 30, 2025, we finally founded our non-profit association vErde regenerativ e.V. The aim was to transform our existing work into a non-profit form, secure it for the long term, and develop it further.
Today, our association is particularly committed to education, research, and public relations work in the field of regenerative agriculture. We design and organize workshops, seminars, and exchange formats, accompany model and cooperation projects, and work with partner organizations in Germany and abroad. A particular focus is on the further development and communication of syntropic agroforestry systems as a resilient form of land use.
Our association sees itself as a platform for joint learning, practical testing, and professional exchange. We create spaces where people can take responsibility, share knowledge, and help shape new ways of farming. Our focus is on nature protection, healthy soils, climate activism, and a vibrant cultural landscape, including in rural areas. Our work is non-profit, transparent, and supported by the commitment of many people who are working for a regenerative future.

Our board
Our association has a volunteer board team of four people who have all shared a common vision for many years: Lilly Schmidtlein and Corina Baasch founded the Hof vErde project together in 2018 and have been investing much of their free time in developing the project for many years. Our association is growing on the fertile ground of their years of voluntary commitment and passion, without which the founding of our association would not have been possible in the first place. Leonie Schmidtlein has been part of the Hof vErde team since 2024 and is primarily responsible for the association’s administration. Georg Schmidtlein has been a core member of the project team from the very beginning. His decades of regional association work and hands-on mentality make him an indispensable pillar of our board team.
